Me Too

Scares me more and more

Nights are safe but I scream alone

Blurred images never sleep on time

Never they sleep for all time..

They fail to ran away with time

Ran and ran to race ahead of time

Graying fast, they don’t rest

Tied to death as souls of foul

Bitter pills they grow on soul…

Young and wounded to no one’s notice

History and mystery as prisoner to choice

Violated but sweeter to begin with then

Innocence at peak, trusted them then..

Pretend to take in my strides

One’s adult world, one’s adult pride

We learn that’s the way to grow

No protest and forget sorrow

Predators tribe live tomorrow..

Failed to liberate, I feared my dark

Failed to revenge, I sulk in dark

Can’t see those, put more in dark

# Me Too shedding my fear to dark

Dark louts cursed to face their dark …

Dr Prashanta Chandra Panda (PhD) presently works as an Associate Professor of Economics at School of Liberal Studies, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He has previously worked as Assistant Director (Planning) at OPEPA, Professor at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He did MA from Hyderabad Central University, M. Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University and Ph. D. from Utkal University, Odisha.
