Dr Ram Kulesh Thakur
Dr Thakur, whose main areas of interest are Indian Writing in English, especially poetry, and English Language Teaching, especially for science and technology, obtained his doctorate in 2013 from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, India.
Dr Thakur has authored several research papers and two books, namely Ruskin Bond: Interpreter of Human Relationships (2011) and Poetic Communication: A Study of the Verbal Art (2015). Currently, Assistant Professor at SRM University AP, Amaravati (Guntur), Andhra Pradesh (India), Dr Thakur has been actively involved in guiding the UG and PG students in enhancing their overall personality.
The ‘WAR’
The arrogant Sun mocks my little stature,
Challenges my weak and fragile form;
I stand firm to show the worth of a pure Soul,
Prepare for the tussle Great;
He shines Hot, I absorb the heat intense;
He comes down with all blaze, I disappear slow;
He boasts his victory Grand, roars High;
The world surrenders to his Will and Grace;
At once, it grows dark, the birds chirp;
The delight to each floats on air,
They look to the Savior above:
To see a CLOUD, that was a water-drop.
