Bupinder Singh Bali

Sunken Gravediggers

Pain trickles from

mud clad faces,

raindrops on windows,

clearing frost on its way.

A sprig of lily blooms

on graves of secluded;

they smell pungent.

The mud clad nose

brings it near

and sucks in air.

Grief is harnessed

on moonlit walls;

framed in sickles of nausea..
