You have muscles, bones and sinews

You have muscles , bones and sinews.

You have pus and blood, urine and shingles.

You have hair , snot, nails toes and phlegm.

Your unwashed body reeks

there is blood everywhere.

This whole package is tied with skin

When exposed develops fungi everywhere.

And yet, you adorn it with pearls

and smear it with sandalwood and jasmine

you scrub it with oils and chemicals.

You adorn your eyes with kajal

and smear your nose with powder

You walk about, the intestines and kidneys and faeces

safely packed under your skin.

There is no end to the fools

That chase after you,

attracted by the shiny packaging

And you, you delude yourself and others

by ignoring the diamond within.
