Tanya Verver

Life

Life always goes on before it ends

Among all other ends

Another distance

Connects between them

All the bitter ends

Where they find another bitter instance

That you can’t break in hundreds little cries

Still breaking you inside

In wilder laughter

You try to overcome it in your craft or

To burn to ashes, ashes in disguise

Still know all the truth

How to burn

To ashes,

All the hash

The smoke left alone,

You do not burn you smolder, you are trash -

Her clone.

Maybe still a clown -

Sad Pierro

You’re down, really down

Or,

whatever, for…

The town

In hundreds little side streets

By the mount-

Ains

Still asks for more.

Your crown

Of unrequited love

Maybe tomor-

row

Those who count

Your tears

Will be here for

Still bound.
