Cup after cup I’m caramel apple
cider autumn gulped down,
pulp and all
the mountains and
valleys and
gallons and sunshine too,
stewed ready for winter’s brew.
Autumn is to see the
sunny
side of the
leaf
that colors
the trees
quite kind to
the eye
in the sky
to the
mountaintops
to
the valleys
beneath
till tomorrow’s
light the talk of town.
